August is my 12 ½ year old Shepherd Mix. He has hip dysplasia in both hips.
My vet suggested going to “LUV MY K9’s” aquatic facility in Georgetown, Ontario.
He does very well in the pool and swims around with seemingly no pain. Outside of the pool he is finding it harder to get around.
This past winter made it very difficult with the snow depth and slippery patches of ice. He stumbled and slipped alot and was in a lot of pain. We didn’t walk too far.
After Roper’s owner, Nicky, recommended Sashas Blend I started him on the powder in February 2008. In 5-6 days August began to get around with less discomfort. He started walking all the way around the block (which we had only done twice in the whole past year). August and I do the whole block now. It’s a short block but BIG for us.
It is April now, melting of snow is done and we will get to walk in parks. Sashas Blend has worked well for August. He is doing the best he can. He’s got a big heart and never complains. We thank you.
