IZZAT
The Hidden Heroes in South Asian Culture / 2016
When challenged with the idea of defining what a hero was, I thought of someone who is faced with constant hardships, but continues fighting through them. In South Asia, the topic of mental health is a taboo, those suffering, often suffer in silence, yet still push forward as to not tarnish their families reputation.
The strength these people hold cannot be matched. It is simply the strength of a hero.
